A Little Bit Sinful is the first book that I read written by Robyn Dehart and it turned out to be a refreshing read to me as well. This is also the second book in the series and I think it did well as a stand alone, seeing as I had not read the first book yet.
This story centers on Clarissa trying to steer her "perfect match" George, into proposing marriage to her. Unfortunately, it has taken him quite a while to propose and Clarissa is getting antsy. Enter Justin Rodale, a bastard son of the Duke of Chanceworth and her brother's best friend. She propositions him to teach her how to be attractive to George. Little does she know that Justin has other things in mind.
I related well to Justin and I thought that he was just the right kind of bad boy. Being a bastard meant he is able to do anything he pleases and dabble with business and work. I liked how she was portrayed as a strong and honorable character, fit for any society miss.
I did have problems with Clarissa. I thought that she was being a bit naive and too caught up in her own world to really see what she was in front of her. I could not understand why she was so fixated about George. *sigh
I did give this book three hearts only because it took me a while to warm up to Clarissa even though I fell in love with Justin. I also thought that there was not so much sinfulness going on in the book which kind of disappointed me since I was expecting more.
